Lyrics
Verse 1
Follow the road up the hill
That’s where you’ll find me
Hiding away, getting high like the tide
Only to rush out to sea
Only the lost and the free
That’s where you’ll find me
All of these changes taking me for a ride
Caught like a rock in a stream
But nobody screams in the quiet
Verse 2
All of the love I can give
Feels like I’m sinking
Right on the brink, thinkin’ how should I live
Only the calm on the trees
Hearing them breathing like
(They’re breathin’ like)
Only the last of the leaves
Feels like I’m sinking
(I’m sinking)
All of these changes I can’t deny
Caught like a lock, got no key
Too many reasons to be sick and I’m tired
Chorus
Are you slipping away
Are you feeling afraid
Are you wishing that time slow down and wait
Midnight calls your cold desire
Takes you back to Holiday Drive
Are you slipping away
Are you feeling afraid
Are you wishing that time slow down and wait
Midnight calls your cold desire
Takes you back to Holiday Drive
Are you slipping away
Are you feeling afraid
Are you wishing that time slow down and wait
Midnight calls your cold desire
Takes you back to Holiday Drive
Outro
I’m looking for a lift so I can ride
To take me back I miss this Holiday Drive
I’m looking for a lift so I can ride
To take me back I miss this Holiday Drive

Great album! A crossover jazz-r'nb-african trip from continent to continent. London does it again. Nyubian Twist with more jazz overtones. John Woodward

I love all of BBNG's albums. (even the rougher BBNG2).
I find that Talk Memory has a high musical level throughout but maybe it lacks standout moments like the other albums all had.
Still, I listen to it all the time, it's a must have together with all the other BBNG albums. bonhomme7heures

Sublime album, fantastic voice and songwriting backed by solid band and production. Current favourite track is Give Me Another Day. The tracks are short and sweet but some could certainly stand extending for the dancefloor. Phing
